Burman inclinable/non-inclinable type presses are available with pneumatic clutch, electricals and fittings or rolling key clutch. Left to right shaft arrangement is better match when the press is required to be inclinable. All other aspects remain the same in case of left to right shaft arrangement. The main structure is extremely rigid and well developed fabricated steel structure. The stresses are so balanced that with full load acting between slide and the table the compressive and tensile stresses as well as the angular opening of the structure are extremely low. This results in long tool life and precise stamping. The closed back structure offers maximum rigidity in the transverse direction and any eccentric loads on the tool are easily sustained. In case of left to right shaft presses the solid frame construction is adopted with pre-machined, press fitted and welded cartridges for main bearing in place of spilt cap arrangement.
